Go Trawhale by Pla is a boutique travel service based in Thailand, offering private tours, tailor-made travel experiences, and ground support services for travel agencies and international partners.

The company was founded by Pla, a licensed Thai tour guide who has spent years working with travelers from around the world. Through guiding, one thing became clear: many travelers are not looking for bigger tours or busier schedules. They are looking for a smoother experience, local insight, and someone they can trust to help bring a destination to life.

That idea became the foundation of Go Trawhale. Today, we work with individual travelers, families, small groups, and overseas travel professionals who need reliable local support in Thailand.

Meet Pla

Founder & Travel Experience Designer

Hello, I’m Pla. I founded Go Trawhale after years of working as a licensed tour guide and helping travelers discover different sides of Thailand through its history, culture, communities, and everyday life.

What I enjoy most about this work is not simply showing people places, but helping them understand the stories behind them. Over time, I also began working closely with travel agencies, tour operators, drivers, hotels, and local suppliers.

Why "Go Trawhale"?

The name Go Trawhale is a unique blend of the words Travel and Whale.

The whale represents exploration, freedom, and the spirit of adventure. Known for its incredible migrations across the world's oceans, it symbolizes meaningful journeys and the joy of discovering new places.

The name also has a special connection to our founder. Her nickname is Pla, which means "fish" in Thai. Interestingly, the Thai word for whale is "Pla Wan" (ปลาวาฬ), which begins with the word "Pla"—the same word for fish. That playful connection made the whale the perfect symbol for our brand, linking the founder's identity with her passion for travel.

From a little fish to a mighty whale, the name reflects a dream that grew into a passion for creating unforgettable journeys for others.
